This murine monoclonal antibody is specific for HHV-6 A and B variants. It allows the detection of infected cell culture by using immunoperoxidase or immunofluorescence. In Western blot it detects a 70 kDa protein of the A variant and a protein 62 kDa for B variant. In immunofluorescence or immunoperoxidase antibody shows a cytoplasmic or membrane staining.

This murine monoclonal antibody is specific for HHV-6 A and B variants. It allows the detection of infected cell culture by using immunoperoxidase or immunofluorescence. In immunofluorescence or immunoperoxidase the antibody shows a nuclear (inclusion) staining. In Western blot the antibody detects 2 bands of 116 kDa and 119 kDa with a stronger intensity on 116 kDa (reactivity is the same with variants A and B).
